ALLERGENS
1. STATEMENT
We produce our beer in accordance with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) guidelines in regard to food safety and allergens.
It is of utmost importance we inform our customers of any recognised allergens which may pose a risk to health held within our products.
This is done through clear labelling via our website, on the product packaging and at our retail outlets. Our staff are informed as to where allergen information is located and can answer queries on the potential allergens within our products.
2. RECOGNISED ALLERGENS
As per the guidance from the FSA the following are considered recognised allergens:
celery
cereals containing gluten (such as barley and oats)
crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters)
eggs
fish
lupin
milk
molluscs (such as mussels and oysters)
mustard
peanuts
sesame
soybeans
sulphur dioxide and sulphites (if they are at a concentration of more than ten parts per million)
tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts).
3. disclaimer
We cannot guarantee that any of our products are ‘FREE FROM’ any particular allergen as the environment and equipment used is the same for all our products.
We will label our products which do contain: cereals, milk, peanuts, sesame, or tree nuts. All of our beer products may contain Sulphites created during the production process.
We do not precautionary label for any other allergen as they would not normally be used in the production process of beer.
